About Mountain Shadows Resort
Mountain Shadows Resort is a 65-acre community of about 100 log cabin rentals, 3 miles east of downtown Gatlinburg. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park boundary is just across the street and all of our views highlight the National Park. We are very close to the Greenbrier Entrance to the Smokies. The Greenbrier section offers fantastic wildflower and foliage viewing, excellent hiking opportunities, and is the perfect place for a picnic!
Originally conceived and developed in the mid-late 1990's the resort mission was to retain as many trees as possible and put all utilities underground creating a modern feel in uninterrupted nature!
